Dear Kelly and all classmates,
I am so pleased to see the number of classmates which are making an effort to come back for the reunion. Kudos to all involved with organizational efforts to put this thing on.
I regretfully (due to family illness) will not be able to make it to Massena for this weekend.
I will use the opportunity to provide all with an update:
Since the 20 year reunion, much has changed.
We ended up living in Germany for almost 6 years and now live in Clarkston Michigan. I continue to work in the automotive industry for the company Delphi. Having started there just after high school, I just celebrated 30 years seniority in the same place.
Our family now consists of 3 children Klara (14), Charlie (11) and Martha (9). Each are excelling in school and their activities. Klara is our wonder child having been born (13) weeks early and less than 2 lbs. She is totally caught up physically and is active with playing the violin and piano. Charlie is the typical active boy, yet also excels at school, the piano and ice hockey. Martha will be our challenge....as many 3rd children are. She was born in Germany. She was upset one day after our return to the US....she had heard that people born outside the US could not be president of the US. We clarified to her the status as a US citizen...but I still wonder where that kind of thought process will lead her.....and us
My wife Liz and I have been married (16) year today. Even though she is a New Jersey girl....we spend many vacations in upstate NY....not only to see my parents who are alive and well living in Massena Center....but at here family's summer home in Saranac Lake.
I would welcome to hear updates from my old classmates and you are always welcome to stop by when in Michigan.

In summary, I hope that all is well with you and the entire class. When we get to our ages.....being content with our situation in life does bring you happiness. We do not have to necessarily like what is going on with our situation....but being content with the things we have....healthy children, a roof over our head, and a dollar in our pocket......need to be present now....or else being content is hard to achieve.
Everyone enjoy the reunion and the time chatting about old times. They were truly good times there in Massena with that gang of 1978.
