


Massena Fire Ravages Main Street Buildings
Massena, New York - January 31, 2008
A fire in Massena, New York ravaged buildings on Main Street-- condemning three to demolition.
The blaze broke out Thursday morning, and jumped two firewalls to spread to other buildings. Crews had it under control by afternoon, but not before it so heavily damaged three structures, that they will have to be demolished.
WWNY-TV reports the fire appeared to start on the second floor of the Tony's Pizza building. Four people in second floor apartments escaped from the flames, including one woman who jumped twenty-feet. She was not seriously injured.
